TRIED & TESTED: THE HARBOUR CLUB

July 16th, 2010

Most striking feature:

The Bisque d’Homard. The Harbour Club in Scheveningen served a delicious Bisque d’Homard. I’ve tried the one in Rotterdam and was a bit dissapointed. Way too salty. But hey, can the cook have a bad day? I will try it again this sunday. The interior is glamourous with street credibility (check the graffiti walls). Once in the month they organise the Johnnie Walker Jazz Club: a jazzy evening with a lot of whisky. Even better in summer when the terrace is open.

Check out: www.theharbourclub.nl There is a Harbour Club in Scheveningen as well.

  1. I’ve visited the Harbour Club once again last sunday. The weather was great so we had dinner outside underneath huge parasols with a stunning view of the surrounding parc. I ordered sushi and it tasted delicious. After dinner we sat on the other terrace for a late night drink and I will now call that the best terrace in Rotterdam. You’re in the middle of a parc hearing jazz tunes on the background: great!
