Most striking feature:
The bed in the hotel room. It looks like batman himself sleeps here. The bed is very high, so with my 1.67 meters I had to jump a bit to get myself in there. But the pillows and thick duvets (big plus, because I hate hotels that provide quests with thin bedsheets) got me in an instant sleeping mood. You can play with the lights for an intimate atmosphere or a blue one. There’s a big Apple iMac in the room to get your social media done – or to watch tv. The manager of the hotel told me that The Weinmeister is the tough brother of Lux11 (where everything is white and pink) and it attracts a lot of musicians (like Caro Emerald). My room was on the top floor (where they have a small rooftop terrace with a splendid view as well), but because the elevator was decorated by local graffiti artists I took the chairs to take a close look at the fabulous paintings. You can also rent the iPad they have on display in the lobby. Only thing I didn’t like was the lobby: the chairs are a bit too big for petite girls like myself.
