Okay, first of all: I didn’t see the rooms. So I can only comment on the other areas (but I’m still having the Michelberger Hotel room high on my wish list for a weekend Berlin, so: to be continued). The hotel is located in the area called Friedrichshain – an upcoming neighbourhood where you need to have a bike (happily they rent it out at the hotel), because nothing is on walking distance. Once you enter the hotel you’re like: wow! The lobby is amazing: lamps made of magazines, suitcases piled up eachother, cuckoo clocks to give you the time, vintage furniture and great bookcases. Can’t wait to see the rooms, and you know what? It’s a budget hotel as well. Yes!
