TRIED & TESTED: DUTCH DESIGN WEEK

October 30th, 2011

Yesterday I got the chance to visit Eindhoven for the Dutch Design Week. If you’re from abroad, you probably think: Eindhoven? Never heard of. Wel it’s where the Design Academy is located and a lot of international designers graduate. Every year, at the end of October, they host this week full of design. You will find new restaurants (although temporarily), new design and new stores. I took some pictures of things that got my heart pounding a little bit faster.

 Temporarily restaurant Radio Royaal

Food Lab – experiments with food

Chairs of Studio Job

New Piet Hein Eek for Wehkamp collection

 At Piet Hein Eek

Yes me too! I walked past the MOOOI store in Antwerpen (at the end of the Kloosterstraat, or isn’t that a MOOOI store?). Anyway: they had those funny chairs in the window. Love it!
