Most striking feature:
The Wenneker Pand in Schiedam is a cultural hub in a former jenever factory. Expect theatre, film, dance and music. But there’s a cool café attached to it as well. Because it’s housed in a cultural center, the audience can be described as cultural as well. They don’t mention the cool ORDER HERE sign and the black chalkboard. The pallets with cushions on top of it. The lamps made of an old tea cup. Because they are studying the cultural brochures coming out of an ultra cool icecream car design. Maybe I exxagerate a bit, but I do like that a cultural center is looking so amazingly cool. I would definitely go here, if I wanted to see The Debt or Johnny English Reborn in December, instead of a boring Pathé in Rotterdam.
