It’s not even open yet, but I can’t wait for it. This year I’m turning 30 and one of my wishes is to celebrate it in New York (and sleep in a couple designhotels). So this one is high on my wish list. Why? Because there isn’t much to see on the website yet – except for a little logo which reminds me of the one of Monocle magazine. But the company behind the hotel – the Sydell Group – is making me more than enthusiastic. The Sydell Group ‘did’ the Ace Hotel NY and Palm Springs, Garces Trading Company in Philadelphia and they are working on a new hostel chain (starting in Miami). Do you understand why I can’t wait to see more of the NoMad hotel? You?
