This contest has ended. You can see the winner here

Espoo, the ultracool design store in Antwerp, gives one lucky reader of Petite Passport a gift we all dream of. The Muuto E27 socket lamp is one of the most popular lamps of 2011 in my opinion. Spotted at several hotspots around the world – and even better is that you can win one for your own home! How’s that?

To win leave a comment why you wanna win this lamp – and to make sure you’re a real fan of travelling the Petite Passport way – tell me which spot you’ve visited through Petite Passport.

Check out the site of Espoo for more coolness – or check the report I’ve made of the store. They also have a Facebook page to follow.

This contest runs until January 30

Price of the Muuto E27 socket lamp is 59 euro – if you’re the winner you can choose your favorite color (green, blue, yellow, red, grey, white, purple or black).

  3. I’ve visited lots of places in Barcelona that were already on my list, but a ‘MUST visit’ after reading your reports!

And I’ve been looking for this lamp for ages, but in Amsterdam they don’t sell it complete and it’s way overpriced. So it would be very nice to win it!

  4. Nina says:

I really need this ultracool lamp because it’s the best design ever and I’ve already made space above my table :) The more light in life the better! And thanks to PP I slept like a princess in Hotel Chic & Basic Barcelona last summer ♥ PP rocks!

I’ve currently got fluorescent lamps in my bedroom which give an awfull light. So I’d love to win this lamp and replace my fluorescent lamps with a nice and warm light source.
I visited Bobby Gin when I was over in Barcelona recently. Very nice bar in a great neigbourhood!

  6. I’m married to a complete lamp-fetishist, so this Muuto lamp would be perfect as a gift for my husband.
We used your tips in the lovely city of Lille (which you gave my through facebook!). Thanks for your inspiration <3!

Waaw, perfect lamp! (So simple) Love Muuto!

The Folly Bar was my favourite in London, of course it wasn’t possible to visit every spot in this city. But I did succeed at this in Ljubljana: we had a perfect breakfast at Rog thanks to PP :)

  8. Natascha says:

By far my favourite lamp, especially the happy yellow one! This will make a perfect match with the unfinished bare spot on my ceiling, which is waiting for a nice lamp since about 8 years (!)… Thx for all your brilliant tips, I discovered the very nice restaurant keuken & deli in my own hometown Utrecht, how nice is that? Make me happy & keep on going the good work!

  9. OOOh I love this lamp by Muuto! And Antwerp ;). And my favorite Petite Passport spot is Slapen in het bos <3 and a couple of tips for Barcelona and now I am using the Ibiza tips!

I have been to Bambu Bar Jakarta- Petite Passport Spot…

  11. Dear Pauline,

These Muuto E27 socket lamp with industrial look will suit perfectly in my bedroom with a classic interior. I will receive my new eco-friendly COCO-MAT bed at the end of January. These socket lamps will finish my bedroom finally.. And we will be spending our nights (and days sometimes) like in a hotel room that you would recommend on Petite Passport, which means PERFECT!

Petite Passport supported me in our city trip to Madrid with the hotel tip Praktik Hotel Metropol. And a lot of restaurants of course. The blog Petite Passport is my travel agency and a huge inspiration to travel more than I already do..

I always recommend PP to family and friends because of the unique places you visit, (luckily) sometimes not so expensive design hotspots/hotels and so on!

Keep up the good work! Michelle

I would totally rock the Muuto E27 socket lamp in my office that is too dark for when I write blog posts. I recently had to go to Ikea and buy a little desk light but it is not as cool as a Muuto!!

As for travel, I’ve been to serveral of your recommendations in Amsterdam such as Mazzo, and De Stadskantine. Heading to Berlin later this month and plan to check out some of your recos!

Oh I love this lamp!! And as you know I’m a frequent reader and traveler with Petite Passport. I’m planning a trip to Barca next week and I already selected some great hotspots. In addition I’ve visited some of your hotspots in Miami, Mama Shelter in Paris, Mazzo in Amsterdam, de Machinist in Rottterdam etc. etc…

  15. Mieke says:

I’m going to Australia in two weeks and Petite Passport will be my guide for Sydney, Brisbane, Cairns ánd Melbourne!
It would be great to install this Muuto lamp above our dining table after our great trip to lighten up our room after so much sunlight! :)

    Thanks for your great ideas!

I just discovered petite passport, but I’m already lovin’ it!
I came across this blog in my search for design and DIY ideas as I am moving to a new apartment soon in the centre of Ghent (Belgium). A beautiful lamp like this would look wonderful in my new nest!
As I am a newbie here I have not been able to visit a place through this website. But I was quite surprised and pleased to find out my hometown is the number one city to visit in 2012! So proud!

  18. Marleen Smit says:

Yeeeeey, these lamps are amazing and would fit perfectly in my new home. A few weeks ago I moved in with my boyfriend and my grandma’s flowered lamp had to go (shocker… ;) ) and now we’re looking for a nice lamp that will fit both our styles! This one would be P-e-r-f-e-c-t!

What I’ve found through Petite Passport? To name one, I finally visited Cafe Restaurant Amsterdam after reading the post, which was great! Thanks for all the nice tips, including AAF ;), Pauline!

  21. Katharina Kieck says:

Because I recently moved out of my flat, sold nearly all my stuff and am now flatless commuting between Hamburg and Zürich. I am currently collecting and searching for nice design items for my future flat in HH which I want to stuff slowly but steadily with nice, thoughtful, sustainable design pieces like the things from muuto.
Dukkan Burger in Istanbul – had a really nice, succulent special turkish burger and some crispy fries presented in a very reduced but still homely atmosphere. Loved it & thanks for all the tips to Istanbul – we tried most of them and were convinced :-)!

  22. Meike says:

    I just ♥ it!!!
    Need I say more?

  23. Nathalie says:

  25. Simone says:

…I need this lamp because it perfectly blends in in our high-fashion & lifestyle showroom, I found the perfect spot for it and I’ll show you on facebook as soon as I have placed it..

PS I <3 Mama Shelter, great recommendation!

When visiting Lille, Barcelona, Berlin & Antwerp last year (I know, i’m a lucky bofkont already) Petite Passport helped us discover our own path, off the beaten city guide tracks. Especially rediscovering Oderbergerstrasse was really nice. Lots of surprises and new cool venues.

Why I’d like to win the lamp- ’cause I think it fits my son’s room perfect. I think the combination of the simple design of the lamp with his old yellow locker closet is really cool. And to be honest, maybe it’s a bit of a guilt thing too. We’re taking our kids to all these great cities. They love cities too & we’ll make sure both them & us have lots of fun and do things over there that we both like. And most of the PP-venues are cool with kids, too. But sometimes we do things WE like and just take try & them with. So here we are, eating sushi @ Dudu’s. We love the place & atmosphere & sushi & japanese beer, but our little son&daughter absolutely don’t feel the same way… We order, give the kids our phones to play with, ask for the bill, eat faster than we ever did & leave again in half an hour. And leave the waiter stunned. So yeah, I’d love to win the lamp, so that this time our son also enjoys my PP-action :)

  27. Justine says:

Hi! This lamp will definitely complete my room and mind. I need a sparkling spot in these dark days and I’m sure Muuto E27 could help me. Bright me up with this stylish beauty and I’ll promise I’ll take good care of him.

Thanks to Petite Passport I discovered the Michelberger hotel in Berlin. It’s one of a kind and I loved it! Also the Monki shop in Rotterdam was a great tip. I don’t know if I could share a tip, but I know a cosy restaurant in Antwerp with Italian based food. You can contact me if you’ll give it a try. I’m looking forward for more hotspots to read!

Mijn meest recente ‘ontdekking’ is Home in Buenos Aires.
