Most striking feature:
In this side street of the Albert Cuyp (famous open air market in Amsterdam) you’ll find a lot of restaurants, but Cotton Cake is the one you can’t miss because of their sparkling white facade. Inside the minimalistic white interior continues. Cotton Cake is part cafe and part shop. I’ve spotted beautiful leather shopping bags of Beck Söndergaard from Copenhagen. And some fragile tops from Penn & Ink. I always love to see Lennebelle’s jewelry which means it’s definitely Petite Passport material. But I wasn’t doubting about Cotton Cake at all: the vintage chairs, the amazing cabinet, the funny condoms on that same cabinet, the heavy New York and Paris books. Everything comes together in here. Oh, and don’t forget that you can have lunch here as well. I’ve tried the tosti and my lunch-date broccoli soup. Delicious.
