TRIED & TESTED: HUTSPOT AMSTERDAM

May 21st, 2012

Part of the Hutspot philosophy is that they move from one location to another. At August 29, 2012, they close this store and will come back somewhere else. I’ll keep you posted.

Most striking feature:

Is it a concept store? Is it a pop up store? No, it’s hutspot: Amsterdam best mixed shop on the best street of the city. Let me explain: four guys opened the shop to give young entrepeneurs the chance to sell their work for a limited time (for two weeks, a month or more). I’ve spotted cupcakes, art, bags, an old typewriter and even a Vespa Motor. The interior is really beautiful and done in collaboration with Sourced & Sold (everything you see is for sale). They also sell one of their own productlines: BoneCeramics and the new fashion brand DEUS. They’ve opened the shop about a week ago and they have lots of plans: downstairs they will invite more brands and they will hosts events like live bag making by designer Atelier de l’Armée and from the beginning of June you can follow a yoga lesson upstairs. Oh, and what’s that best street of Amsterdam? The Utrechtsestraat, where you will find Petite Passport’s favorites like Bar Moustache and Another Labels as well.
