Most striking feature:
Next door to BookMarc, in the West Village, you’ll find Jack Spade. I was excited to finally visit the store I read so much about in every list GQ writes about cool stores for men. Jack Spade was all about beautiful designer bags in the beginning and slowly they decided to sell additional products like glasses, fashion and socks. Now, May 2012, they have 9 stores worldwide (2 in New York) and they also sell fashion for women at Kate Spade. In this West Village store we heard that Carlos Couturier – designer and owner of Grupo Habita and Hôtel Americano – loves to shop here as well. I guess he likes the good quality of the clothes and bags and love to top it of with a striking detail. Like a bandana wallet or a simple cotton tote bag.
