Most striking feature:
An Award-winning restaurant in Brooklyn. Isa opened it’s doors last year and it’s already hard to get a reservation. The designer was already known for his other venues (Freemans and Peels), so his clientele is now crossing the river to dine in Brooklyn. Inside it feels like a warm and cosy chalet. Everything is made out of wood. There’s an open kitchen so you see the chefs preparing the daily dishes. They hand you a daily menu with things to share and a couple of main courses (one fish, one meat and one vegetarian). My boyfriend ordered an octopus with a black sauce which looked like oil. And I ordered the porridge which was a sort of risotto. Pardon my culinary expertise, I’m someone who enjoys the interior.
