TRIED & TESTED: FIGARO BARCELONA

November 5th, 2012

Most striking feature:

The large windows. It seems like you’re in a display with those floor to ceiling windows. Perfect for some people-watching, an activity which you can also practice on their terrace. But you rather keep your eyes on the menu where you will find ‘the best burgers in town’ so they say. You better go and try them, right? That’s what we did. The Manhattan was a burger without a bun, but with fries. Delicious cooked with a delicious flavor (8 euro). The Jerry’s has a bun and is topped with baked eggs (10 euro). The decor is great. The gigantic bookshelves are not filled with books, but with olives, peppers and cornichons. At night Figaro becomes a bar. Ofcourse you can order a Gin & Tonic, but if you want something different you will find the beverage types neatly divided per price, per shelf. On the top shelf the most expensive drinks. Above all: a great place for burgers and drinks.
