Most striking feature:
That I was invited to the cellar to see how a pig was prepared? Something slightly different than typing a story behind your laptop, right? All of the pig is used. For a nice juicy piece of meat or soup. The cooking is not done in the cellar though. Upon entering the restaurant you immediately see the kitchen on the right. Open. So you can see what the chefs are doing. The restaurant is from the same owners as FA. Pekelhaaring in the Pijp. This time on the other side of town. The restaurant is actually divided in two. Upon entering you have a great corner with red and black chairs on a Persian carpet and a long table where you can read the newspaper. Ahead you’ll find a lot of simple bistro tables. The food here does the rest. FA. Speijkervet opened the doors this summer and the announcement on Petite Passport was very popular, so I’m glad I can now show you the interior.
