Most striking feature:

The swimming pool like bathroom? The table tennis rackets on the walls? Painted in fantastic colors? The friendly owners of the place? The delicious small pizza we’ve ordered? Too much to mention. Let’s start here: the former owners of Federal Cafe, you know that amazing place where you can sit in the windows and read magazines the whole day, opened Mat Bar. Everything in here is about games. That’s where the name comes from (a mat is something you roll out before you start doing your exercises), but you can play backgammon on the bar or see the tennis rackets on the wall, next to table tennis bets and jumping ropes (all painted in pastel colors). You really have to visit the bathroom which looks like a swimming pool. And then the food. It’s a bar, but you can also order small dishes like a pizza’s and salads. The owners are from Australia and you see the love of fresh and good food coming back to your plate. We enjoyed it very much. Definitely worth going for cocktails, drinks or a small pizza.
