Most striking feature:
‘Wow, what a beautiful collection of clothes’, was my first reaction by seeing all those pieces of fashion hanging at the newly opened Objet Trouvé in Rotterdam. For example a lovely pair of skinny jeans by Mother (from the same agent as Isabel Marant). Or a dress by Hope. Or a simple shirt by Rue Blanche. The enthusiastic owner, Floor Theuns, explained that they sell Scandinavian and French labels without the heavy price tag. Apart from that they also sell shoes, bags, stationary of Marjolein Delhaas (a graphic designer from Rotterdam who is known for her calendars) and jewelry of Charlotte Wooning and Martine Viergever (did a jewelry collaboration with Monique van Heist). The space is enormous with a fashion agency in the back. The location couldn’t been better: Pierre on one side (for drinks) and Depot Rotterdam (for interior inspiration) on the other side.
