Most striking feature:
The LX Factory is an area outside the city center of Lisbon where you will find restaurants and shops and other interesting things happening. In the past this was one of the most important manufacturing complexes in Lisbon’s history and is no less than 23.000 m2 big. I love to share my finds on the LX Factory.

The above photos are taken at 1300 Taberna. A restaurant where it’s all about the Portugese kitchen.
The photos above are taken at Mercado 1143 where the restaurant is completely black and white and they have even swings in it. The kitchen is Portugese with a mix of other interesting world wide flavors. There’s a bakery and a mercado as well. Opened in the Summer of 2012.
The photos above are taken at Cantina LX. A restaurant in a factory style building where you could also sit outside.
The photo above is taken at Landeau Chocolate. A chocolate shop where even the NY Times raves about. The owner of the shop gave me a piece of her famous chocolate cake and it was delicious. Muddy and full of dark chocolate. Mmm.
The photos above are taken at the new BI-CA. A bike and sandwichshop where there are even toasters on the tables so you can toast your sandwiches by yourself if you wish.
Small terrace at the LX Factory at Cafe Na Fabrica.
My trip was sponsored by Transavia.
