Most striking feature:
Oval Barcelona opened it’s doors only two months ago and although this spot is open from morning to late at night, it’s all about the burgers in here. I’m gonna try those later. Right now I wanted to enjoy the beautiful interior. The work of an architect from Mallorca who lives in Barcelona (fyi: Flexo Arquitectura). What I really like about the place are the walls. The whitewash walls on one side of the cafe, the wooden panels on the other side. And then there’s a wall made our of red bricks. This morning I stepped inside at 10am and there were people sitting there enjoying a cup of coffee and the morning paper. Oval is located in l’Eixample (on Carrer Valencia on the corner of Enric Granados, close to those other cool spots called Toto and Cornelia & Co). I will be back soon to try the hamburgers. Every burger is different. You choose the burger (for example beef or veggie), the bread (for example classic or gluten free), the cheese (cheddar or cured manchego), toppings (lettuces or black olives) and the sauce (for example honey mustard or spicy mango). And the price? 8,60 euro. Have fun!
