Most striking feature:

Lot Sixty One is a new coffee roastery on the Kinkerstraat in Amsterdam. The owner is from Australia, lived in New York for several years where he was already working in the coffee business and when he moved to Amsterdam he couldn’t get enough of coffee so he decided to open Lot Sixty One Amsterdam. It’s not just a coffee place, because downstairs they actually roast the beans. I’ve tried a cold coffee brew from Ethiopian beans and it was brewed for several days. It was really good – especially because it was a warm day and a cold brew just did it for me. You can also order a homemade apple cake with it. You can go there for a take-away cup (lovely simplistic design), to chat with the barista or to sit outside in the sun.

Check out their Facebook page.

The best coffee I've had in Europe so far, beating my experiences with coutume in Paris. Awesome staff as well – i can see myself going there every day if I stayed in Amsterdam longer.
