Most striking feature:
The lush green interior. They really brought the outside inside the ME Madrid. You may remember that famous hotel on the plaza Santa Ana with a stunning rooftop? When I first went to Madrid in 2008 I went there with my sister to drink cocktails and watch the beautiful view from The Roof. But now, six years later, we don’t have to go up, because Ana la Santa Madrid has opened the doors on the ground floor. A beautiful restaurant designed by Sandra Tarruella Interioristas, just like Luzi Bombon. The doors opened in September and since then it’s the place to go if you want to try some typical Spain dishes. Ofcourse they will have tapas, but also small sandwiches or paella. The restaurant is open all day and you can also check out the lobby and have a drink there. A good starting point to explore the area or walk to Patrick Blanc’s vertical garden at Caixa Forum Madrid (10 minutes walk).
