Most striking feature:
The coffee. Toby’s Estate Coffee was born in Australia and after the speciality coffee was distributed to a lot of coffee spots in Australia, Toby’s Estate opened a shop in Singapore and one in Brooklyn in 2012 (read my Tried & Tested here). And more recently they crossed the East River to open a Toby’s Estate on Manhattan too. The design is slightly different than the one in Brooklyn. It’s also slightly smaller, so you don’t see hipsters working on laptops in here, but it’s very busy with people passing by and getting a quality coffee-to-go. That has everything to do with the location in the Flatiron district (across the street from the Flatiron building and inside the Club Monaco store). Definitely the place to go for coffee if you’re around (or staying at the close-by Nomad Hotel for example).
