MARKET LANE COFFEE MELBOURNE
Most striking feature:
Their newest location. Right inside the Queen Victoria Market in Melbourne. Market Lane Coffee is a household name in the coffee culture of Melbourne. They have four cafes where they ‘love to make coffee for the city that loves to drink it’. There’s one in the Prahran Market for example where they also roast the coffee, there’s that one that’s pretty popular on Pinterest (across the street of the Queen Victora Market and already popular since the opening in 2009), there’s one in Carlton and now there’s a take-away spot inside of the market. Next to a stand where they sell fish and bread Market Lane Coffee is selling beans and ofcourse high quality coffee. The stand is designed beautifully without losing the 1920’s heritage features such as the high level panelling, the nickel window frames and the marble counter. Definitely the place to go if you want to grab a coffee when you’re exploring the market or the surrounding neighbourhood or buy their Jetset Coffee Kit (150 Australian dollars) for a friend (or yourself) who loves to make coffee.
Pictured are both the new Market Lane Coffee inside the Queen Victoria Market and the one on Therry Street.
