Dusty Deco moved to another location, so the pictures aren’t accurate anymore. Visit them now at Brahegatan 21.

You may know Dusty Deco in Sodermalm. A wonderful place for vintage finds, but the owners grew out of it. So they were looking for a bigger location and they found it in the up-and-coming area of Hornstull. There you literally walk into heaven if you love vintage and I couldn’t stop taking pictures. Let’s start with a short piece of history: the owners of Dusty Deco (also a couple) worked for years for famous Swedish fashion brands. For their work they traveled the world and came back with wonderful vintage pieces. Often 60s design from the States, but basically everything that makes their heart beats faster. First they put it all in their home until they grew out of it. So that resulted in the location in Sodermalm. And with that opening they didn’t hold their hobby longer for themselves, but they could also share their finest design pieces with other people. Now they no longer work for the fashion brands, but all their time and energy goes to Dusty Deco. And now there’s this new establishment. Located in an old garage you will find the nicest chairs, art and lamps. And one corner after another is just beautifully designed. You can go there if you want to decorate your home completely in Dusty Deco style, but also if you’re just searching for a unique single piece. Note: they are only open on Saturday and Sunday.
