I’ve kept it exclusively in The Barcelona Guide, just like tons of other new addresses, but today I like to share one of my favorite openings of the last weeks. It’s called Bar But and it’s like the Instagram-spot du moment. The owner worked in marketing but always dreamed of opening its own bar. When he found this old cafe in Gracia, in Calle Boavista where you will also find some good independent shops, he completely rebuild it into a plywood dream. Wood is everywhere and he combines it with plants, vintage details and good independent magazines. A place where you can easily hang out for hours discovering the menu which consists out of tapas, although their tuna is also really good. And during the weeks they have a good menu del dia. Enjoy!

Check out their Facebook page.

I love this new neighborhood hangout. From the day it opened we all gather there, and it’s a great place during all hours of the day.
