There’s a brand new coffee bar in the meatpacking district of Copenhagen called Prolog. First there was a magazine store in this small outlet in between a few of the coolest restaurants in Vesterbro and they, the two boys, Jonas and Sebastian, who run this coffee bar, decided to keep the independent magazines and books, but serve coffee too. They roast their beans themselves in a place in Christianshavn and work together with creative food-entrepreneurs I am a KOMBO for the delicious sandwiches and cookies. I am a KOMBO is run by top chefs Lasse Askov and Bo Lindegaard and they are famous for organizing mind blowing food events. And they travel too. This week they are in Milan for the design week for example. The interior is done by OEO, a Danish/Japanese design company run by Thomas Lykke, a former Wallpaper* magazines Interiors Editor and Annemarie Buemann, who worked at the Danish embassy in Paris for a while. Now they work on projects for Leica Japan and Sony, but also inspiring places like Prolog.
