What started with one coffee spot on the Old Street Roundabout in London has now become a portfolio of super cool bars and restaurants. My favorite? Clerkenwell Grind.

Clerkenwell Grind Restaurant

Most of the Grinds, like the one next to the hip Hoxton in Holborn, are small coffee cafes where you can get your daily caffeine fix and some pastries. But now there are also three Grind restaurants in town. One on Exmouth Market, one next to the London Bridge and one in Clerkenwell. A super cool area with lots of designers and architects and even their own Design Week in May.

Australian designers

They worked together with Australian design company Biasol for the interior of all the cafes and restaurants. They also designed Feast of Merit in Melbourne (featured in The Australia Guide). Clerkenwell Grind is located in a former warehouse and they transformed it into a blue and pink heaven for coffee-drinkers and avo-smash eating Londoners.
