Bangkok has a lot of food- and shopping malls. If you like to go where the hipsters go, prefer a smaller place and love good food, then you need to go to The COMMONS.

Community of passionate producers

The COMMONS is located in Thonglor, the coolest area of Bangkok my opinion. You will find lots of great cafes here like Somersault Coffee Roasters and Patom Organic Living. And also the Volve Hotel. The story about The COMMONS is that they wanted to build a community rather than a mall. The architectural building has five floors where passionate producers show their work. May it be in the form of a restaurant like Roast or as hosting an event like soap making.

From coffee to pilates

On the ground floor it starts with a food market where you can buy a cup of coffee at Roots or ice-cream at Summer Bees. But they also sell poke-bowls, chicken and churros. Outside there’s a large terrace in a nature-like setting where you can eat the food. Upstairs you’ll find some shops like the cute Plant House inside a yellow tiny house. Another floor up you’ll find the Playground for kids, but also gym Absolute You for example. On the top floor you’ll find Roast, a delicious cafe.
