TRIED & TESTED: VIKTOR ANTWERP

March 26th, 2013

viktorantwerp

Most striking feature:

Viktor is a shop, cafe and exhibition space in one. They are open for two months now and when we arrive on a Saturday afternoon we are lucky that there’s one table left. You can go there for a cup of coffee, but I’ve tried the hot white chocolatemilk and I would recommend everyone to order one as well. Delicious! Sweet and perfect to warm yourself up during a cold day like last Saturday. The interior is filled with beautiful furniture and everything is for sale. So you can try their furniture before buying it and it’s a clever move because the shop owners (Yannick Moonen and Lotte Stofs) get Read more…

TRIED & TESTED: LE JOHN ANTWERP

Their simplistic decor combined with an extreme friendly service makes this a great spot for dinner. On the ground floor – where the restaurant is located, you will find white walls and simple chairs (if you like Wilde Zwijnen in Amsterdam you will like this as well). Upstairs the interior is black Read more…

TRIED & TESTED: DE BURGERIJ ANTWERP

April 11th, 2011

Most striking feature:

Their burgers.  Okay, you can choose a salad or a wrap but the menu mainly consists of burgers. I tried the Dolce Vita burger with tomato, pancetta and provolone. It’s always a hard thing to eat a burger like a lady – especially if they’re this big. So don’t go here on Read more…
