Westberlin is very, very close to Checkpoint Charlie but when I was there I didn’t see any tourist walking that way. They walk until the Museum of Checkpoint Charlie I think and then walk to the right to go visit the Topographie des Terrors or the Holocaust Memorial. Westberlin is a new coffeeshop with a thing for magazines. The perfect place to go if you want to get updated with the latest issues, use their free wifi and eat a small sandwich and drink something.
