The collection of the Fine Store. You want to have it all! During Design Kwartier, a festival for slow design, food and lifestyle, I went to this new shop owned by Evelien Maat. She’s not only the owner of the shop, but together with her sister she also designs the most beautiful rugs, pillows and table linens under the name of By Mölle. Today I went to The Hague for Design kwartier, a new festival with a focus on slow design, food and lifestyle. In the Zeeheldenkwartier, an up and coming area in The Hague, you will find a lot of pop up shops, food events and you can see what the designers who live here are working on right now. TO GO: CHANEL DE LEGENDE DEN HAAG

No idea what to do this weekend? Today het Gemeentemuseum in The Hague will open Chanel de Legende. This is a huge exhibition about the life of Coco Chanel. You’ll learn everything about this fashion icon and ofcourse you can see many of her designs. Besides fashion, the spotlight also shines on the Chanel no.5 perfume and that other world famous Chanel icon, the 2:55 bag. That the Chanel designs were (and still are) copied many times, is clear. Hometown Coffee is a new coffee joint in The Hague. Open for a few weeks right now is it the place to grab a coffee to go or sit down, read the newspapers or magazines and drink a cappuccino.
