Most striking feature:
The Scandinavian decor will definitely caught your eye. Koffie & Ik is open for 8 months right now and isn’t exactly located in the center of Utrecht. Lombok is a neighbourhood where all kind of cultures live together but, so the owner told me, these days a lot of young professionals are moving there. Most striking feature:
I’m not the one who needs to tell you something about fashion, but I like seeing people working in hotels or restaurants with uniforms that are quite cool. At the Story Hotel in Stockholm there was a girl wearing a fabulous jacket, it’s a shame the sleeves the staff wears at Bilder & de Clercq in Amsterdam aren’t for sale (yet) and at Stan & Co they wear suspenders, a cool jeans and masculine boots. Most striking feature:
This store was made totally out of boxes. A good, and cheap, way to decorate a place. Especially because it was a temporarily interior. In september 2011 they redesigned the place for good. The cardboard interior worked well with the Wood Wood pop up store they host that summer. But a cardboard counter doesn’t really work. So they changed the interior quickly after my Read more…

The interior is fan-tas-tic. Not something I would expect in Utrecht if I’m honest. It’s not located directly in the center of Utrecht – but a five minute walk from Ledig Erf.
