March 28th, 2013

designhotelsbook2013
The hotels on Designhotels.com are a feast for the eye and are on the Travel Bucket List of many of us. The yearly publication of their Designhotels Book is even better: now you can sit on your couch and read and, more important, fantasize about all those beautiful places they describe. This year they collaborated with Artek, the famous Finnish design company, to make Read more…

LIKE TO HAVE: BAG AT ACNE STOCKHOLM

December 18th, 2011

I’m not an impulsive shopper, I (try to) only buy things I really like. Things you see and you are immediately in love with. I had that feeling about this bag at Acne. I couldn’t find the price and the sales person was busy helping somebody else. The denim fabric is beautiful but check the Read more…

LIKE TO HAVE: SUNSCREEN BY OAK

July 29th, 2011

Oak is one of the best stores in New York to get your designer stuff of Acne, April 77, Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair and Gestuz (among others). I was doing some online shopping and spotted this sunscreen with an A+ for their graphic design (price: 12 dollar). I think I wouldn’t even dare to touch the bottle – especially on the beach with the sand and all. There are two stores in New York: one in Manhattan and the other one on Williamsburg (pictured below).

LIKE TO HAVE: ONE GLASS OF WINE PLEASE

July 7th, 2011

Spotted in Monocle: Oneglass.it. A cool designed glass of wine. Perfect for people like me (single) who don’t drink a bottle of wine next to their dinner. Or have to drive back home. One glass is just enough. Buy it online or in Milan, Verona or Japan.

LIKE TO HAVE: NECKLACE OF EDEN & EDEN

July 3rd, 2011

A girl have to protect herself, isn’t? Well I’m not a fan of weapons, but this one on my neck will be my funny piss-off sign. Eden & Eden is a store in San Francisco where they sell fantastic jewelry, but also clothes, bags and furniture. My favorite is this necklace of General Tokyo (66 euro) but I also like the vintage studded tunic pictured underneath this post (87 euro).

Her book is a collection of her favorite places in the city that never sleeps.

LIKE TO HAVE: MEXICAN INSPIRED SHIRT BY PINKO

May 30th, 2011

When I received the press release of the new Mexican inspired shirts by Pinko I immediately think of my trip to Mexico in 2010. And I really want to go back because of this new hotel: Be Playa del Carmen. I would wear this shirt with a simple jeans short and flip flops. Love the bold colors in Mexico and on this T-shirt.
