HTL HOTELS STOCKHOLM

The HTL Hotel is one of the newest hotels in the center of Stockholm. It just opened a few weeks ago when I arrived. At HTL Hotels they make it as easy as possible for their guests. So check-in only takes five minutes in the self check-in counters in the lobby (it is even possible to check in, and open your room, with your smartphone. The rooms are all the same: there is only a difference in rooms with and rooms without windows. I myself would always opt for a room with a window and for that you pay 79 euros per night (that’s the starting price for a double occupation). Swedish Architecture & Design company Koncept was asked to do the complete design of the hotel and that resulted in a beautiful designed bed with space for your suitcase underneath the bed, plugs to charge your devices anywhere and a bedside table made of marble where you can actually sit on. The hotel has researched exactly what the guests want. A luxurious feeling for little money. You don’t have a desk in the room, but you do have a large rain shower. You can connect your mobile devices to the television. That comes in handy if you just want to watch a movie after a long day in the city. The hotel also has a lobby, a restaurant (where I ordered a delicious risotto and a chic mint juice for under twenty euros), bar (with a huge collection of Cava) and an outdoor bar. With HTL Hotels the world has a new affordable luxury hotel in a great central location in Stockholm. And how’s this? They also have plans open HTL Hotels in Copenhagen, Oslo and Helsinki soon.
