Bye, bye March, hello April. How was your month in terms of travelling and seeing the latest spots around the world? Or even close by? In your own city? I was so lucky to start the month in Cape Town and Johannesburg to discover the best places for you to go. At home I had a lot of work waiting for me, but that didn’t stop me from updating my own city (Rotterdam) and visiting the new concept store Groos. And I went to Antwerp to see de Invasie and discovered Viktor: a beautiful place to get your coffee (or hot chocolate milk) and shop. Another thing to celebrate is the fact that my blog turned 3 years last week and I’m still not thinking of stopping at all. There’s so much more to discover to get you, and myself, in the mood for travelling the design way. Have a good month!

TRIED & TESTED: ARTS ON MAIN JOHANNESBURG

Most striking feature:
Having lunch underneath the olive trees. The Maboneng Precinct is an area full of old warehouses turned into restaurants, hotels and even a museum (see this picture on Instagram, the museum is gonna open in a few months). For all of you who followed me on Instagram and Facebook the past weeks know: I completely fell in love with South Africa. I couldn’t stop posting pictures of all those beautiful hotspots. I was surprised by the amount of great shops and restaurants like Loading Bay and Superette. Once arrived at Babylonstoren my romantic side came up: here I just have to get married one day. South Africa, especially Cape Town, was already on my wish list for years. And now I’m actually going!
