Maaike Koster, the owner of My Deer’s, makes the most beautiful art prints from her home. The webshop grew and she wanted to have more space and she found a former record store in the center of Haarlem, in a quiet street called the Schagchelstraat (one of the hardest words to pronounce in the Dutch language I guess). Nothing reminds you of a former record store anymore because she turned it into a stunning space with a lot of plants, a beautiful vintage cabinet with an uncountable amount of lightbulbs above it and of course a wall filled with all of her beautiful illustrations.
But she isn’t selling her own illustrations only as she also sells products she loves. Like the immensely popular Pikaplant, lovely children’s socks, diaries and other stationary, beauty products, jewelry, rugs, ceramics and much more. Definitely a place to stop by when you’re on the hunt for presents.
