Most striking feature:

At first, by seeing the press images, I was like: yes, I want to sleep in a cube like this. When I entered the place there was another striking feature: you’re right on the beach. You forget the cube for a moment and walk straight to the window to gaze out over the ocean. Miguel, one of the owners of Flattered, a complete apartment complex on the beach side, welcomed me with a glass of port and told me all about the project. They rent it out to couples or people with children because all the apartments have another bed as well (and if you’re with a small baby they will put a baby bed in the apartment). Together with an architect, the same one who designed the Vodafone headquarters in Porto, they designed and decorated the apartments. In some you sleep upstairs, in others, like mine, you sleep in a cozy cube. In the apartment you’ll also have a seating area, television, a dining table, kitchen and bathroom. In their they provide Claus, a brand from Portugal, amenities. And in the morning they bring a big basket full of delicious goodies to your door for breakfast. Oh, and if you want to go to the city? A bus brings you there in about 15 minutes. It’s a beautiful drive along the water and the bridges.
