Right now I’m flying with Transavia to Mykonos to stay a week at the beautiful San Giorgio Hotel. Two years ago I went to Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonnisos and I loved it. The beautiful clear blue water, the food, the people: I had to go back to Greece someday to explore more islands. Then designhotels.com introduced their newest pop-up hotel called the San Giorgio Hotel and I added it to my wishlist immediately. After the 6-month designhotels.com pop up project in 2012, San Giorgio decided to open the doors for good. From the pictures I have seen it’s a paradise for bohemian travellers with a sense of style. You can stay all day in the hammocks or explore the island with all those beautiful white houses with pink flowers and blue accents. Ofcourse there is also a active beach life in Mykonos so I will be exploring that too – all to bring you the best itinerary and best spots to visit when you’re going there!

PS: Did you know designhotels.com organizes more pop-up-hotel-projects? The Papaya Playa Project in Tulum for example (read my report here) and now they have a one year project in Rio de Janeiro.
