The first thing that strikes you at Copper in Antwerp is the great facade. ‘That was there even before we bought this building’ tells Annemiek Visser, the owner who has a passion for hospitality and ceramics. Once inside you walk past a thick and beautifully colored curtain and you see the old pink wall and the cozy counter. There are all kinds of books and magazines and soon it feels like your favorite neighborhood cafe. It’s located on walking distance from Kolonel Koffie, close to ‘t Zuid. You can order a good coffee or something to eat and you will fall in love with the cups/plates immediately. The most beautiful ceramics are presented in the windows though. Not everyone knows you can buy it, but because the owner likes to share her collection of unique pieces, they also offer them for sale. Nice!
