Almost in the same block as Da Otto and on walking distance of 10 Corso Como you’ll find Ceresio 7, named after the street this restaurant and bar is in. Fashion twins Dean and Dan Caten of Dsquared2 moved to the building a few years ago to make it their head office in Milan. There was a rooftop but they didn’t know what to do with it. In the beginning they just wanted to use it for fashion shows, until they met with the team of the ultra chic Bvlgari Hotel in Milan and they came up with the idea of turning the complete rooftop into a restaurant and bar with two swimming pools. Why two? Well, because Dean and Dan are twins they like to double everything. They hired two different design studio’s. One for the outside of the restaurant (named Storage Studio) and one to do the inside (named Dimore Studio). Because there wasn’t a swimming pool before, they had to bring the whole rooftop on a higher level and you can imagine that was quite the renovation. Now the swimming pool area is just stunning. You will have exquisite views over the city, you can spend a day at the lounge chairs around the pools and of course you can go for a swim when the weather is good. From the restaurant you’ll have the same stunning view and you’ll notice that almost everything is hand made in the interior. From the tables to the lighting above it. You can find two Basquiat paintings on the walls, the rest of the art is an origami like collage of frames with sketches of the fashion duo in it. On the menu you’ll find contemporary Italian dishes. One tip: do make a reservation when you’re planning of having dinner here.
