You’ve probably saved a picture of one of the Pop & Scott couches on your Pinterest already. The futon-like couches are so beautiful. Pop & Scott have a shop and workplace in Melbourne and recently they also opened one in Byron Bay. Let’s explore!

Poppy Lane and Scott Gibson

Pop & Scott is the interior dream of Poppy Lane and Scott Gibson. She has a background as a florist, he as a craftsmen and together they work on creating the most beautiful modern Australian furniture. In all my favorite design spots in Australia you will find their Dreamer couches (see my report of The Standard Apartment for example) so I was really curious to see how they work and what more they sell. I took the metro to Northcote, a Melbourne suburb and visited their store.

A visit to their shop and workplace

You can see where they make the furniture as the shop is located next to the workshop. Of course you can try the Dreamer couches, but also paper lanterns, lamps, mirrors and benches. And they also work together with other Australian design brands they love so you can make your interior complete. Think of Deiji Studios linen, Anchor ceramics and the fantastic rugs from Pampa. Another popular Australian design by Pop & Scott are the illustrated plant pots. Hand-painted by artists they work with.

Byron Bay and webshop

Recently they also opened a shop in Byron Bay and I think, and hope, more will follow. They also have a webshop so if you want to have a velvet couch delivered to your home they will take care of that too.
