If you travel for cool coffee cafes you’ll have to add Bangkok to your list. I’ve told you about Somersault Coffee Roasters before and today I love to share Hands & Heart Bangkok with you.

Coffee in Thonglor

Hands & Heart is located close to the hotel I’m staying at (Volve Hotel) so I walk there on a Wednesday morning. The street itself is quiet so I’m having some doubts if I’m going the right way. You have easy to navigate cities where all the cool spots are located near eachother (Shoreditch in London for example). And then you have cities that aren’t so easy to navigate, like Bangkok, but it’s always more rewarding if you searched for a super cool place which is a bit hidden.

Let’s start with making with your heart

The coffee bar has a black and white theme and looks absolutely stunning. They were inspired by the Teshima Art Museum in Japan (put it on your list too). Minimalistic, sharp with a beautiful black marble coffee counter. They are really serious about their coffee – I’ve tried an iced latte – and roast it in Bangkok. There’s a lovely saying on the packages: ‘Let’s start making with your heart, then your hands will brew all the rest’. They also have small food (try their charcoal croissant) and juices.
