• Dear Breakfast

November already! Two months to go and it’s already 2019! October started in London because I was nominated for the Best Cultural Nomad of the Year Award. I didn’t win, but I was very lucky as the weather was beautiful in London and I got to visit the new Caravan in Fitzrovia and had a delicious lunch there. In Amsterdam, I went to Coffee Sometime, a brand new and beautifully decorated coffee cafe. Amsterdam based store Restored opened a new one in Rotterdam, I had the most delicious dinner at Heroine in Rotterdam and went to Eindhoven to visit the Dutch Design Week. Also, I drove to Friesland and stayed at the amazing Atelier Gaasterland and together with one of the owners, Rik, we drove around Friesland to see some amazing places to go (read the whole list here).

Last week the new guides came in, so imagine an office full of boxes with guides. I can’t wait to send them to all those lovely shops and readers. I’m really honored my guides are now being sold at Boon the Shop in Seoul and the new COS (opening this month) at Coal Drops Yard, the hottest new retail location in London with other shops such as Paul Smith and Tom Dixon.

Let’s see which posts you liked best last month:

1.Coffee Sometime in Amsterdam

2.Hotel Herman K in Copenhagen

3.Atelier Gaasterland in Friesland

4.Mandali Retreat in Italy

5.Dear Breakfast in Lisbon

Have a great November! x Pauline
