Last weekend I went to Verbier to make a report of the newly opened Experimental Chalet. The chic ski resort in Switzerland is the starting point of more than 400 kilometers of slopes. For beginners and especially for advanced skiers. There are numerous restaurants and apres-ski bars and apart from having dinner and drinks at Experimental Chalet – their restaurant is run by Gregory Marchand of Frenchie in Paris – I would recommend you to visit Chez Dany. You can only go there by taking a snow grooming machine on the way up and a sled to go down. The interior is authentic with lots of wood, a moose head on the wall and wooden chairs with a heart carved in it. And the typical Swiss cheese fondue is delicious.
