Poketo is a well-known name in Los Angeles as the colorful store sells everyday essentials that brighten up your day.
They’ve had several stores in Los Angeles and I discovered them through their store in the Arts District and their pop up at The Line Hotel. Both outlets are closed nowadays, but they continued to look for new cool areas and now they have two locations: one in Little Tokyo and one at The Row in DTLA (pictured).
Ted Vadakan and Angie Myung founded the brand in 2003 and in those 18 years they worked on a flourishing webshop, retail locations and many collaborations with brands such as MailChimp, Nike and museums like the MOCA. They sell their own collection of planners, notebooks and other desk essentials. But also lots of home accessories, art and toys for children.
