MONDAY MEMO #04

Good morning!

Welcome to the fourth edition of Monday Memo. A diary of fun things: new openings I’m excited about, exhibitions I like to go to, products I love, initiatives that caught my eye, news I want to share and much more. All related to hotspots, design and travel of course. Every two weeks 10 things, so let’s go!

If you’re working on your itinerary for the London Design Festival already, make sure to stop at Labour and Wait’s BROWN pop up store. For nine days only you can find them at Calvert Avenue on Shoreditch, a close walk to their original store on Redchurch Street.

You can stay one night at Zoku, but they also offer long stay apartments with a design-forward and clever design. New is the Zoku Summer Edition to promote staycations in the city. Go for the Zoku Positivity Retreat, a 3- or 4-day retreat with yoga from Delight Yoga, bootcamp sessions, a scent experience and healthy cooked meals by Zoku’s chef.

Last week I went to The Hague to find some new places for The Netherlands Guide. It almost felt like I was in France when I saw this yellow building, home to restaurant n.

I’m still in shock of what happened in Beirut. My thoughts go out to designers like Pslab (who created this beautiful chandelier at The Jane in Antwerp), The Slow by Frama and Papercupstore, among others.

Meanwhile I’m working on the brand new magazine -> coming soon!
