Nives in Antwerp is the Lille Bakery of Belgium. A place where you can have breakfast and lunch and where you can buy freshly baked sourdough bread.
The building in the Harmoniepark immediately catches the eye: radiant white, stately high and with a large terrace. Inside, the interior is composed around the kitchen/bakery where both of the times I came here for lunch, people were busy baking bread and making lunch. The height does all the work, the wooden folding chairs and paper lamps complete the picture.
The two female owners are known from Cafematic and opened this new place in lockdown. On the menu you’ll find sandwiches, salads and other goodies. They serve coffee from Cordon Coffee. And at the end of the day you can also join them for an apero.
