3 reasons to go there:

1.If you like being a guest of Belgian handbag designer Lies Mertens who has her atelier on the ground floor and turned two rooms in the building into two spacious apartments with a shared dining room and kitchen.

2.If you like visiting a place that’s both sustainable (they re-used the leather from the bags for the bed frame on the first floor) as creative (she often organizes exhibitions in the gallery downstairs and asks the artists to make something for in the rooms). Plus if you love reading you’ll have to choose for room 2 which has a library with 1000 (!) books.

3.If you like staying in ‘t Groenkwartier, close to other favorite places such as Nives, The Jane and The Plant Corner.
