3 reasons to go there:
1.If you like discovering the European version of the iconic Ace Hotel & Swim Club in Palm Springs. Located in Glyfada, around 30-minutes from the center of Athens by car, the hotel calls the Athens Riviera as its new home. Expect a swimming pool, a lively restaurant, bar, cool lobby and 120 guest rooms with a balcony overlooking the pool. In ’25 they will also open a rooftop restaurant.
2.If you like checking out the interior done by Parisian design agency Ciguë, who we already know of many Aesop stores, the Veja store in Paris and restaurant Cheval d’Or in Belleville. For Ace Hotel & Swim Club they were inspired by Greek modernism, and used the work of local artists in the interior design. Expect a warm color palette, striking art works and of course lots of nice details you wish to take home with you asap. Such as the colorful bath robes, the make-up towel, the books in the lobby (provided by Hyper Hypo, a book- and magazine store worth recommending in Athens) and much more.
3.If you like checking in at a hotel without staying there. Have a coffee at Good Chemistry, enjoy a dinner at Sebastian or take a look at their agenda for events you can join. And if you want to leave the hotel? Cross the highway and you’ll find Glyfada beach on your right side for a nice sunset, or an evening swim.
