3 reasons to go there:
1.If you like staying at a 150-year old hotel and pub. It stood empty for a few years when a young couple decided to renovate it into a hidden grm of a hotel with only 5 rooms, a light and airy breakfast room, a bar, a veranda and a patio garden.
2.If you like looking out over the Seine. Three of the five rooms look out over the river, and especially room ‘Amour’ is worth recommending with its own spacious veranda.
3.If you like exploring the small town and its surroundings. Via the owner of the hotel we found Skali Restaurant which was really nice, and the town is famous for a horrific story of the daughter of famous writer Victor Hugo (known for Les Miserables). They loved this part of Normandy, but unfortunately the daughter drowned in this part of the Seine when she was about to marry. Artists like Monet on the other hand used this landscape as an inspiration for his work.
