Most striking feature:
While I was strolling through the new and upcoming Las Salesas area of Madrid I spotted a banner: ‘pop up store, only till the end of June’. I thought: let’s step inside and what I got into was a fantastic Merci in Paris like store (but then better). Vintage items all over the place. From large vases to a fantastic tipi for kids. The store was called Madrid in Love and after some research I’ve found out that they host more pop up stores throughout the year (so be a fan of their Facebook page to find out). This time they collaborate with Magasand: the beautiful magazine and sandwich café in both Salamanca and Chueca. So you can sit down and drink a healthy juice in here. While you’re doing that you can watch the most fantastic looking people in Madrid. I really thought: if I was Scott Schuman of the Sartorialist I had an easy day. One day in this spot and you’ll have content for weeks
Check out their Facebook page.
My trip to Madrid was sponsored by Transavia.com and Tour Spain
