SUPERETTE CAPE TOWN
Most striking feature:
Let the sunshine in! Superette is a discovery you want to share as quickly as possible and by entering gives you immediately a good feeling. The space is very cool with all those yellow and white accents and the sun shines through it beautifully. Superette is actually always full: people are doing their mail on their laptops or are chatting on a long table with friends. I went there to have breakfast. And normally I don’t take photos of food, but this plate (french toast filled with Nutella and a banana on top) was so nicely decorated that I had to put a photo of it on Instagram. And then the text of Mark Twain next to it, amazing! So thought through. Don’t skip the table with gift-items either: there you will find something for your friend who loves to cook. I really liked the cups with the text ‘A Cantonese will eat anything with wings (except an airplane) and anything with legs (except a table)’. How funny! Must go!
Oh and for those of you who think: is this the real Superette? The restaurant recently moved to the Woodstock Exchange. So this is the place to be right now.
